I recently acquired this 2 owner original truck from a local farmer. Its a bit beat up around the edges but over all its in pretty good nic!
Drove it home from north canterbury and ran like a champ all the way.
Just planning on tidying it up and doing bits and pieces as time and money permits.

Decided to strip the front end down and start repairing the damaged guards, both sides were in the same condition, Im guessing it must have miss judged the farm gate a coupe of times...

Was going to work out more economical to replace the left front guard than fix the existing one so i sourced a second hand one which happened to be a taiwanese repo panel anyway so was in pretty good condition. Striped all the panels down then sent them off for blasting.

Installed D21 hubs and spindles while the guards where off. The inner panels where in really good condition so gave them a clean up and re underseal too. Might just need to skim the discs and see how the master cylinder performs or upgrade to a larger bore.

Sacrificed the wheels off my daily and threw a free set of tyres at them to give me something to play with, will atleast go to a lower profile later but for now its a starting point.

The wheels are 8" with 215's and stick out of the stock guards by about an inch. I want to keep the truck looking fairly clean so I ended up removing the lower edge of the stock arch and persuading a pair of 510 wheel arches i had into place giving me a bit more tyre coverage and i also welded them on about 15mm lower than standard to help creep a bit more low when i get to the final height.
