Datsun Nationals Ohakune 2017, Saturday & Sunday October 21-22

This year we are having the Nationals as usual at Labour Weekend, This year we will be converging on Ohakune for Saturday Oct.21st. We are not having a South Island Cruise destination this year instead focusing on getting as many to Ohakune as possible. This is a significant change for the club, having historically held the nationals over Labour Weekend with Duel locations in the North and South Islands run concurrently.
This year we want to Celebrate the 1967 Launch of the Datsun 510 range.
As 2017 is the 50th Anniversary of the Datsun 510/1600
There is a team working on the agenda for this cruise. It is up to us to start threads for cruises from our own areas to converge on the Central North Island on Saturday the 21st of October.
This promises to be an Awesome event and probably one of our biggest yet, start planning to be there, get working on that Datsun 510, or model of your choice, this should be an event to remember.
Special Guests this year will be Baz and Tracey from Datsport in Australia.
Check back for details as they are added, and check the
calendar for Cruises starting or passing through your area and get involved.

Saturday sounds good. I guess at a pinch Monday morning could be an option also. But Saturday should work. Thanx for your effort.

Hi all so below are all the details of the Ohakune Top Ten Holiday park. This is where we are staying and seems like a good option would be great if most could stay here. Mention that you are with the Datsun Club they are expecting us. Also if you join the top ten club you get a 10% discount. It costs $49 to join but is valid for two years so could easliy make your money back
Other places we have talked to include Rocky Mountain Chalets thier number is 06 385 9545 and also Alpine motels their number is 06 3858758 There are heaps of options in Ohakune and a quick google search should find suitable accomadation for all. Please contact me ( Alice) if you need andy help
Look forward to a good weekend meeting new faces and catching up with old friends
Cheers
