The Annual Queens Birthday Cruise has happened for many years in the Port Hills above Christchurch. It takes in the Beautiful roads around Lyttelton Harbour after testing our Horns and Engine/Exhaust notes in the Tunnel. After some park-ups along the way, with a bite to eat and a cold one or two we continue on up over the hill and back to the City.
This is a relaxed and enjoyable cruise, on some very fun roads.
Meeting place: Ferrymead Mitre 10 MEGA car park, Ferry Road, Ferrymead.
Time: 10:30am.
Itinerary: After meet and greet, we'll be heading up Ferry Road and through the tunnel to Lyttelton. We then head around the bays to Governors Bay for a quick stop at the hotel then on to the Wheat sheaf tavern in Teddington for a refreshments and lunch break. Back over Gebbies Pass and along Summit Rd, to Dyers Pass Rd and back to the City.
