Sorry cannot help out, but welcome.
Age is but a number. A few of us are creeping to that number as well as younger folk.
I would be keen to know about past Datsuns if you had any stories?

YEA HI ADAM,WELL TO MUCH TO TELL,LOL,BUT I HAVE HAD LOTS OF DATSUNS BUT I RACED A 1600 FOR ABOUT 8YRS AND I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS TIME TO BRING IT BACK AND HAVE A REALLY NICE ONE FOR MY GARAGE,AND I STARTED A DATSUN CLUB HERE IN INVERCARGILL IN THE LATE 70S AND WE GOT ABOUT 25 CARS THERE WERE DATSUNS EVERY WHERE DOWN HERE.

Arh i see, so you're the culprit behind it. For the longest time Invercargil and the surrounding areas used to be the Datsun capital of NZ.
They were always popping up from around there and i never understood why. Sadly now tho, a survivor like i imagine you would be after are becoming a hard find. Still around. I might have to go for a drive to shout you a beer, try get some more history stories out of you.
