That just made me remember when Jose and I went to hamner for the weekend and I parked the coupe on the main street and sat on one of the seats in the trees and watched all the old guys talking about it. One of them said oh I think thats a 120y isnt it and the other said nah it might be a 1200! :lol: They couldnt decide on which one it was lol

The only reason we were sitting in the trees is because Matt wanted to watch people looking at his car :crazy:
Lol but it was pretty funny really, all the people looking at it like hell thats tidy wonder what it is?

When we took my car out we had people ask us if it was a rotor lol funny times

In my 240K I have been followed by a bunch of young fellas hanging out the windows of the car trying to take pictures with their cell phones I presume

The storage shed I had it in was next to a mechanic and people would ALWAYS come and talk to me when I was working on it curious.

I had it at Mag and Turbo once and 2 different groups of people came over to investigate as they saw the tail lights and flipped out at the possibilty that it was Skyline related.

My fav Datto story was from 11 years ago. A mate had a paddock that we used to race in we nicknamed "Haytona." We used to go there every weekend and thrash cars we bought in the T&E for $100 (when you could do that.) This particular day we drained oil and water then stuck a block on the accelerator of a banged up 1200 wagon for fun. Thus revving its nuts of until revs began to die and it stopped after about 3 minutes. It caught fire and the mini crowd erupted. Said fire was put out. The next day, replaced the battery and some burnt wires, gave it a few cranks, then a few more, then BANG sprung into life again sounding a little rattlier no less :tits:

AND WHOLY SHIT, my mates old website he made 11 odd years ago still exists!!! (look at copyright 1997 in bottom right corner) Check out Haytona website!!! Why is it still there, wasting space???!?!?!? AWESOME http://homepages.inspire.net.nz/~icarpent/haytona/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I remember being with dan sss 1200 one day in his 1600. We were stoppd at some lights in the middle of town and this middle ages man comes running up leaving his wife on the side of the road shouting "thats the shit" Thats the f**king shit, I used to have one of these." Dans instant reaction was to start dialing a huge standstill for him untill the light went green then fanged off the guy was creamin his pants!
