My daily is giving me a tonne of grief at the moment! For the last couple days its been running pretty shit. When i try and take off from the lights etc, its either mis firing or back firing or both! and goes super slow then when the revs get a bit higher it kinda goes back to normal. But does this everytime i stop. Could this be a faulty coil or a fuel related issue?? Any help much appreciated cheers.

Check your spark plugs, fuel filter, and then insure it and put a match to it!

Sell it to a boat builder then it can be used for the only thing that subaru's are good for.............................boat anchors/moorings

if you are gonna go through the massive effort of checking your plugs, you would be better to change them. as bart said, do your fuel filter and give your airflow meter a clean with some contact cleaner. failing that, pop the tyres in a massive skid, and flog it off

im guessing it is coil if you have the model with the coils ontop off each plug these were proned to failling find a mate with the same model flog one off his/hers coils and pull each one off yours out one at a time and try with his/hers coil hope this helps
