Just curious as to what the two cutouts on the first two inlet ports on this cylinder head are there to achieve?Image

No-one really knows from what I've seen on other forums. I've got a W53 at home also and it doesn't have them.

The corresponding notchs on the inlet manifold as well.
We may never know why...
