yes and it is now sitting in my garage ;) soon to have my l20b fuel pump my peanut head and twin 40mm.... hpe its a good motor or it wont last long with me

That motor came out of whats his names 1600 SSS or something? I think its got a bigger oil pump or something? Cant remember!

well i put it in drv 2 wrk gt hme went to the shop and it started knking lyk a bitch AKA IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY... spent my weekend putting it in

id be checking the flywheel bolts, as its so common for them to come loose, especially if getting a caneing, sounds exactly like bottom end knock as well.

mate i was nice as to it 7am going to cpit from linwood few to many cops for me to be rapin it .. was full off oil as well it had the l20b oil filter ..

flywheel??... mayb my l20b ran a bearing and wouldnt rev eg fukd

the l18 could still rev but i dnt see y it would be the flywheel the engine and box were still together

seriously mate, the bolts can come loose, the flywheel will still be attatched to the crank as the bolts cant come all the way out, but it will knock like a bastard, if you were that nice to it and after a couple of trips it started knocking that bad, I wouldnt be putting my money on a fucked motor, otherwise it would have knocked from start-up, from what you are describing.
did the motor come with a flywheel? if so did you check the bolts? if not did you locktight the bolts when putting them in?
