Re: WTB Z20 RODS
RB30 ones are the same length and big end diameter, they're narrower though so you end up having to use a piston guided setup for your long rod L20B

Want to borrow - R160/180/200 diff housing or whole diff
As the title says - I just need something to fit so I can temporarily fit a 510 rear crossmember, an empty housing with a backplate would be ideal but a whole diff would work. I seem to have sold all my surplus ones and I'm not ready to fit my good diff and crossmember yet.

Re: L18 head gasket ?
There shouldn't be any issues with the blocks or cranks, both are very stout (steel crank) and should be able to take horsepower levels well above standard. Reasonably priced engines abound, making them fit into where an L series was gets expensive. My advice is just fix the engine you have. Don't f...

Re: L16 inlet/exhaust gasket problems
Even a cheap gasket should be ok. In my experience the leaks usually arise from having aftermarket intake or exhaust manifolds with different thicknesses/contact areas on the spreader washers. Re: scooters 260C H330
Glad I'm not the only one who always seems to find bronze used for repairs from back in the day.
Nice to see this is still around and getting some love, it's definitely one of the nicest condition 330's I've seen.

Yeah probably a good idea. Dirt I'm ok with, massive fuel leaks and fireballs not so much.

Re: My '72 1600 SSS
Got all sad seeing all these running driveable 1600s at the Nationals and decided to have a selfish weekend and just work on my own cars (mostly the daily unfortunately). Cleaned the garage up a bit to make some room also - here you can just see the 5mm alloy rock deflector/bash plate I made up to p...

Dash restoration looks great - what product did you end up using on it?
