S12's - Gotta Catch 'em All
I'm trying to track down all of the S12 Silvia/Gazelles/200SX's that are currently in New Zealand. So far I've learned of about 35 all up, but am missing some information on them. Does anyone know of the whereabouts of any of the cars attached, or do you know of one that I probably haven't found y...

Re: Changing wheel studs from 7/16 to m12 and getting more l
Hey Jeremy, do this have a knurl type stud like most modern vehicles? When I need to convert my Hilux diff from M12x1.5 (Toyota) to M12x1.25 (Nissan) I measured the knurl on the OEM studs went to Repco and just went through their catalogs until I found one with the right knurl, length and thread pit...

Re: Suspension arms
As above.
I have confirmed the TechnoToyTuning 4-link arms for the S12 are certifiable here. But that involved an email to them to confirm the brand and load ratings of the rose joints they used. My certifier accepted the response.

Re: Datsun wheel offsets.
Has the car gotta go for a cert? If so, just put spacers on it.
If not, sell and buy another set of rims :/

Re: Mag and tyre replacement sizes ? What have others done
Yeah, you going to have to certify on factory wheels or go for the Falkens. The Supercats are not specd in that size to a 8" wheel.

Re: Mag and tyre replacement sizes ? What have others done
Just did some digging, factory size was either 155SR13 or 6.00-12 depending on spec. If this is the case, 205/50R15, 195/45R15 and 195/50R15 all fall within the 5% tolerance. I'd consider looking into the 195/45R15 Falken ZE912's and printing this page and taking it with you. These will also give yo...

Re: Mag and tyre replacement sizes ? What have others done
I know this is compliance, not cert, but surely they follow similar rules. I don't know, just throwing this out there. According to LVVTA, 195/50/15 are good for 5.0 - 7.0 Even 205 is too narrow for an 8 inch rim for cert. http://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/infosheets/LVVTA_Info_01-2009_V2_Tyre_Size...
