Interesting re the console though, mine was bang on top of the manual shifter hole (the manual shifter hole has the auto one spot welded on over the top). There are different shifters however a Z shifter won't work, I'm using a 180B shifter on mine.

Sorry fletch! The tacho is the primary reason I bought it, I've been looking for one for some time for the red car basically! I have seen one ever come up on Yahoo Auctions in the time I've owned my car, these things are hens teeth spec.

I've read a bit about the red one, and it was on TM a while back...
