Re: Datsun 260c
Thanks for that.I'm also after a manual gearbox, clutch pedals and maybe the brake pedals.I've sored a 1979 injected l28 motor which I'm going to bore out to 3L,run triple carbs, extractors and maybe a cam.I know a SHITLOAD about turbo RB motors,Skylines,Stageas. But the Datsun/L series motors is new to me.So any help to wards this build would be greatly appreciated.
Does any one know where in Chch i can get chrome trimmings/bumpers/etc restored?

Re: Datsun 260c
If you know rb then l series will be a breeze especially if your gonna run carbs ive got a spare manual pedalbox - which is the brake and clutch pedals and also a master cylinder - i think i have a clutch line from the green 230 sedan too - just give me a text - im in belfast.
Ive just brought a VB commodore with ld28 and manual etc - box is jammed in 1st gear but might have a long l series gearbox for you once ive done the conversion on the r30 (as i have to run a short one). Aparently its a common problem for the l series especially diesel to get stuck in first (ive got two now)
Ill have a dig in the shed today.
