Nick 1200 sedan Race car - Shit this things needs finishing
Re: Nick 1200 sedan
going back to when you got your sedan blasted, did you just get underneath sandblasted and did the top yourself or did they sandblast the whole body for you?? much distortion from heat?? i've just brought a sedan project and trying to find out best/safest way of stripping.

I got the whole thing done But they dont do the rear quarters or roof. I used euroblast but I think I'd possibly use another company next time euroblast is the cheapest easily because they use a higher pressure than a lot of other companies so can get it done quickly (hence price). I got quite bad distortion in the floor particularly the flat part and it also turned on of the humps in the floor inside out (but I just beat it back) but then again my friend got his sedan done and his floors were fine.
Damon, i think i'll rock into para rubber and try find a stick on rubber seal profile that can seal between the tank and the body. I've been told by a work mate there is one that would be perfect for the job, i'll just have to have a look.
edit: forgot your not in christchurch. sandblasting is fine as long as done by a place that is setup for doing cars and they don't do guards/roof/bonnet/boot. Those just distort too much. Floors are normally sweet because they have a heap of shape in them
Re: Nick 1200 sedan
