Anyone know where I can get a 12v preferably 2 speed hair dryer? Going to rig it up for use as a demister
Prefer places in christchurch but open to suggestions

Re: demister
like a temporary demister? lol
or ar you going to run no heater, and mount a hair dryer, converted to 12V and ducted up to your windscreen?
I think you'll find its quite likely that inside a normal 240V hair dryer, there will be a transformer inside to convert it to 12V anyway

Re: demister
Yeah no heater, just connected to ducted vents for demister.
I'll probably dismantle it and make up a wee box for it so it doesn't look so much like a hair dryer.
Thats interesting about the transformer thingy. where'd would I look to find out info like that, I doubt there's a modified hair dryers forum. Might just have to buy one and see
