shocks ?
how do you put in the threded bit into the top of the strut to hold the shock in place tryed a screwdriver and a hammer but it rooted it is the a tool for it ?

you dont happen to know where to get the tool do you been to repco and butlers but neither of them stocked the or know where to get them

know anyone with a big fuck off adjustable crescent? that should work. Otherwise a big plumbers pipe crescent (stillson) will work too but it will damage it. Also Put a little locktight on the threads when you install it. Its obviously the one part keeping your shock in there

i tried with the skillson but theres nothing to grab to to get it tight enough to stop the shock moving up and down

you might find the nut that holds the shock in, might be running out of thread or be the wrong shape for your shock, doing it up hand tight should be enough to stop the shock moving.
