Haha NOPE, to get the headers in and out I have to remove the dizzy and water outlet off the motor and drop the whole crossmember down about 2-3 inches. That gives me enough room to the clear the strut and floor and engine mount bracket. bit of a pain in the ass but atleast now they are made they shouldn't have to come out to often!

Well I haven't done anything on the car for about a month, been having to much fun on the weekends, But I had to put it back together this weekend because we're moving house in a couple of weeks so I thought I'd snap some pictures of it while I had it out of the garage.
I also added the lip spoiler I've got to see what it looks like........ it looks pretty sweet

my wife becca has just spent the last hour reading through all 14 pages of this thread to educate herself on what i actually do in the garage. first thing she noticed was a mistake on the first page.
so, i should mention that the $500 this car cost, was actually HER $500 (she bought me this for my 21st present). she just wanted you all to know how awesome she is.
only problem is now she wants her own datsun as well.

Wives owning datsuns is a trend im loving starting to notice more and more of.

Still trying to convince mine a 240z makes a perfect family car. baby seat in spear wheel well etc

Haha yeah, its pretty cool. She just has become more and more keen on them, to the point now where she normally spots datsuns driving down the road before I do!
Shes pretty keen on a 1200 coupe, but we'll probably consider other coupes.
So if we can find one at the right price we'll grab one. The only condition is she has to work on it too :)
