Driveshaft for 60a to 410/411 H165

Post by jeremiahnz »

Hi guys,

Yep, more q's from me...

I'm looking for a driveshaft which has the correct splines/yoke to go from a 60a to a H165 diff. I believe a 1200 ute driveshaft does exactly that, but just aren't sure about the end flange as my H165 is from a 410/411.

I have attached a picture of the flange below. The dimensions are roughly 73mm x 64mm. From looking at http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawiki ... haft_Swaps" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; this looks more like the H150 however the dimensions of that seem too small. The H165 flange pictured on that site is completely wrong for my diff (round), however I guess there could be other models.

Does anybody know if there is a driveshaft that can go from a 60a to this H165 flange?

BTW the J13 and E1 driveshafts have different spline patterns for the gearbox, neither of which work with the 60a

Also, if anyone in AKL has a driveshaft with a 60a spline that they are willing to sell please let me know as I may have to get one cut down and welded to one of my 410 driveshafts.

Yep, could be keen if shipping isn't too much. Does it have a round flange on the diff end or rectangular?

I'm 90% sure that the B310 suny driveshaft fits an H165. (The ute variety) It's only the H145's that were different. But being so old Yours may be oddball again. Can you measure the diamater of the yolk flange spigot?

Cool - that may work, any chance you could measure the flange dimensions, the OD of the yolk flange spigot and the bolt pattern?

Cheers

Here are some more pics which should give a better idea of dimensions. The OD of the yolk flange spigot is around 55mm

Vanette driveshaft from H165 might be an option too

oh hey,
don't get too caught up in the flanges matching. In my car atm I have a round tal shaft yolk flange bolted to a rectangular diff pinion flange.
When I get the chance I'll measure my sunny d/shaft flange and let you know if that'll fit.
