Im after an L series bell housing well just the front section anyway say the front 4" or so.
If any one has an old 4 speed they wanna chop the front piece off would be of much help.
I guess Z series would work to but ive never used one before so not 100% on that.
Will pay money for it. Prob more than you would get for the complete 4 speed.
Plus you then get to keep the input shaft as a RWD Nissan clutch aligning tool. Will suit all Nissan clutch's except the S15 6 speed
Will do Twin plates and even GTR clutch's so a great thing to have around so theres the incentive now someone chop up a gearbox for me please.

Re: L Series Bell Housing
what are you planning to do? i have an auto L series bell housing which is good because it unbolts so all you need to do is machine up an adapter plate and bolt it together, this is what i was going to do but as such don't have a use for it now. probably wouldn't work to well if you were trying to weld it to another gearbox tho.

Re: L Series Bell Housing
To make matter worse i have also binned two in the last 6 months. ( i did strip the input shafts from them first though)
I plan on bolting it to my new engine attaching a starter to in and running it on the ground so i can then compression test it to see weather i need to strip it down or just throw it in.
I'll have brand new paint so minimum number of engine installs is the aim of the game here.
I figure if i use the front 4" or so i'tl cover the clutch for safety reasons.
I can't be bothered attaching my hole gearbox to it.
Plus i do a lot of scrap yard trolling so was thinking of making a bit of a universal loom etc so if i come a cross an engine i can start it up before i bring it home.
Well that's the idea anyway. Prob won't happen
