Oversize a14 pistons

Post by volodkovich »

Does anyone have any oversize a14 pistons in good nick they'd sell? I'm too cheap to buy new ones and my piston to bore clearance is out of factory limits on my spare block.
Either that or does anyone know of pistons that will fit without too much effort and are cheap. Motor will be hot so want similar piston dish to factory for 11:1 ish c/r.

Cheers,
Rob

I have priced up new ones for my A14, and looking at some mitzi ones for around the $160 mark for the set, but I need to shave 1.2mm off the top of them.
I thought that was cheap enough.

I have about 8 or 9 pistons here, but they are 75.5 & 76.0mm....

I don't know about the mitsi pistonsm, but 1.2mm is a lot to remove from the pistons. it might comprimise the the strnegth of the top of the top ring land..............
