kb110 rear shocks.

was at supercheap today looking for rear shocks, came across a pair of 67 - 75 vw gas-a-just dampers reduced to clear from $150 each down to $5 bucks each, thought it was a error, but guy said it was correct, bought them both could not resist remember seeing somewhere that you could put vw beetle dampers in datsun 1200. if not will hock them on trademe.

nah salesguy said it was a special order that a guy did not collect. sat their for a while i guess still reckon they missed out a 0.

Looking in the online KYB catalog datsun 1200 coupe it shows nothing for rear shocks from them. i have seen vauxall viva shocks used on the rear of coupes.

Did you know that VW Beetle shocks fit the 1200 coupe?

Very nice information DD and also take note that you can get lowered versions of KYB for type 1 bettles and also GAB brand.
I used to have these lowered version shocks on my manx beach buggy and they where awesome. You can also get coilover shocks for the type 1 which I have never had but bettles stuff is good news for the datsun as they have the best aftermarket service of any car.

the vw beetles could take the KYB KG4520's which i bought or the KYB 343143's which from the datsun 1200 website fit on the rear of coupes. I think i may have just answered my question but correct me if im wrong please.
