i dont see any harm in doing it, as long as its done correctly. more welds should be better than none. mate did it to his dx race car, and made a huge difference

Did he weld a inch leave a inch on the street stock we weld the whole car used one roll of wire and there's shit loads of seams on a falcon but i don't plan on smashing in to other cars for fun in the Datsun

yeah weld an 1" then leave 1-1.5" etc
Thats the norm anyway. I kind of wish I did mine when it was up on the rotisserie

so photos started to do some seam welding but mig played up so had to fix it will give it another go soon want to get mig and me up on song before i start body work.
at lest no one will see this bird shit welding :deadhorse: :deadhorse:

thats a choice colour man, like it alot. that welding isnt that bad just for seam welding, and as you have said, no one will see it :lol:

looks great, when you get to the door openings, best thing to do is get yourself a spotweld drill bit and, drill plug weld holes between the original welds, then plugweld away. (hope this makes sense)

Yes already got one sweet little tool just drill between the spot welds and you are away laughing can use a drill bit to just can't drill right through :badgrin: should also say that I'm still using 1.2mm mig wire lazy sod that i am will change it over before i carry on
