i dont see any harm in doing it, as long as its done correctly. more welds should be better than none. mate did it to his dx race car, and made a huge difference

yeah weld an 1" then leave 1-1.5" etc

so photos started to do some seam welding but mig played up so had to fix it will give it another go soon want to get mig and me up on song before i start body work.

thats a choice colour man, like it alot. that welding isnt that bad just for seam welding, and as you have said, no one will see it

looks great, when you get to the door openings, best thing to do is get yourself a spotweld drill bit and, drill plug weld holes between the original welds, then plugweld away. (hope this makes sense)
