It is with a heavy heart I have to let you guys know that I have sold my sedan.
I love this car, but have had to sacrifice it, to have some useable space in my garage, and give me the funds to panel beat the coupe. The coupe will be able to be completed relatively quickly now, and poor old Wilbur was always going to be redundant after the coupe was completed.
My OCD allows me to get things down pretty quickly, and hope to have the coupe on the road in 6-9 months.
I have sold Wilbur as basically a rolling body wth some other parts removed also, so will be advertising stuff I have left over in the next few days, such as seats, engines, gearboxes, bumpers etc
Also have some mint parts that weren't included in the sale, such as my mint centre console (with VDO tacho fitted) mint black door cards, and the seats etc.
Its going to a good home, which has meant the sale could proceed without the need for me to medicated...
PM or email me if you are interested in any parts I have.

You are right there Wal, cost me a fortune to do it!
even with scraping bargains left right and centre, getting "mates rates" where ever I could, and being fortunate enough to find such a clean original car to start with!

Interior is mint, except for front seats have a couple of splits. and rears have been vinyl sprayed black, as original ones had rips.
dash and door cards are mint (all factory black)
Roof lining mint, but has a bit of off colouring to it
Coupe centre console fitted with smiths tacho installed where the round plastic datsun emblem was
coupe under dash tray fitted
new carpet set 12 months ago
all doors repainted inside when panel was done
SAAS sports steering wheel fitted
new door and window rubbers & seals all around except for front quarters.
If you flick me an email I can send you some photos

You really are off your head selling this car mate. I've had the rare privelidge of driving it, and it's a true piece of art.
I can promise you that although it might be the right thing for you to do right now, you will regret selling it in days to come. Once your little ones aren't so little, the rear of a coupe will be too small to bring them on cruises. Plus you'll probably never own one this nice again.
Find somewhere (dry) to store it, if it's in the way. And just sit on it for a while. If you do, everytime you do go and see it, you'll be filled with a warm feeling of joy that you didn't sell it.

They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Some advice, never post your email address publicly, only ever in a PM as you leave yourself open to spam attacks (as everyone can see it, even dodgy bots)my1200 wrote:************

BTW I would own this car in a heartbeat, if I could afford it that is.
