Jas,s 1200s
Thought I would put some pics up of my cars and introduce myself at the same time since I,n new to the club. Guess you could say the Datsun thing has been around for a long time as my dad brought a roadstar ute new in 1983 and then traded it on a green 1200 seden that I still have now. At the moment i,m just trying to tidy it up and get it going and on thr road. Hope these pics load up ok. Jason.

Looks like a beast Jason.
Did you still want that supercharger pulley? I can pull mine off my car and get the old boy to make some drawings of it for you this week if you like?
That yellow one is the one you bought off matt Wayne in rangiora aye? I was going to take a look at it for you, (off 1200.com) Matts brother Aaron posts on here sometimes.

Hi Bart, hows things. yep still need the pulley at some stage, so just when your ready. should have it running soon, will run it in and panel n paint befor I put the supercharger on, so still heaps of time for the pulley.
The other one (its more a cream/ white) is the one from rangiora, matt gave me a good decription of the car over the phone and when it arived it was better than I thought, he also threw in lots of parts that I was,nt expecting. He seamed like a good bloke, maybe I,ll get a chance to meet his brother a some stage. How are you getting on with your cars any projects on the go, your white supercharged car going ok..........

yeah I got my 1600 and my 1200 both works in progress. My blown motor is going sweet as can be. I just need to splash out and build a decent exhaust system for it.

Re: Jas,s 1200s
Hi Guys, long term plans are to put both cars back and the road and stropp them as much as I can around the streets of Wellington. The white one will need a lot of work as has rust in floor and fire wall.
Short term plan for thr green one is to panel and paint and get in running and road regestered, once its on the road I will start fitting and sc12 supercharger.
I was happy with the wheels also, I got them off a guy here for $200, newly painted and almost like new. Bit of stuffing around getting them on as they are +40 offset, I had to fit longer wheel studs and 10mm spacers on the front, no spacers on the back so the track is narrower than standard but I think they will clear the inner gards so I can go nice and low.......
So how many Datos do you have bart, a 1600 and the supercharged 1200, or one more 1200 aswell. Whats the plan for the 1600.
(2 doors,) do you have a 2 door 1200 sedan, I,ve only ever seen 1 or 2 of them both left hand drive......such nice cars...
