Chris, Sean, Mark and I went down to Ashburton in the Coupe last night for a random mish to Lewis' house. Had a mint time looking around Lewis' Dads garage etc and I was sober D then we decided to go to Maccas on the way home. We just got out of Ashburton and came across a car wrapped around a pole on a straight bit of road, did a u-turn to investigate there was already another younger guy there on the phone. All I can say is the 2 occupants were a mess and it shocked the hell out of all of us. I think it just goes to show you how easy it is to make a mistake that could change everything in a second. I just would like to say if your driving dont bloody drink!! Or even if your fatigued just pull over and have a nap, your not going to lose any man points if you do! We dont want to see any Datsuns ending up in the way we saw last night!

Re: Just a gentle reminder about being safe on the road
I want to die in my sleep like my grandad. Not screaming and flailing like his passengers.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Thanks Matt, its never nice seeing that sort of thing first hand, and kinda makes you think.
most people think that its the sort of thing that happens to others, and never themselves,
be safe all.
