Decided i'd put up some pictures and details of my car on here as a few have asked about it.
Bought it mid September last year. Looked like this.
Pulled off cross-hatch grille and put on flat grille with a Japanese Sunny badge.
Decided it needed slamming and some mean rims. Bought these in from Japan, 13x7 -2 and 13x8 -15 Work Equips.
Got some schnitzil tyres fitted to my spare streets (155/55 on a 14x7)
Rolled multi-club run on the 7inch streets and borrowed the front 14x8's off my S31 FairladyZ. Makita lowering springs.
Continued on with making my adjustable coilover struts for the front. Decided it was cheaper and much better option to go to a full-tap aftermarket setup and just make a threaded sleeve to weld to my strut. This means I can adjust ride height and spring preload individually. Had to find a suitable (re: very short) BC coilover to get the car as low as I wanted. Luckily these came up and at 370mm from bottom of thread to camber plates they work out to be a good deal shorter than what most people run - Silvia or ae86 stuff. Got a mate to make up a Chromoly Sleeve to press onto my strut tube and then got another mate to TIG weld it on. Turned out mint and passed crack testing no problems.
Camber plates are Noltec s13 camber and caster adjustable.
Just got them in the other night. Rear is cut springs with some super stiff 4x4 Gas monroes to keep them captive.
Plans for the moment are to get it certed at its current ride height (50mm to crossmember). Not sure how hard this is going to be, might need to take to it with angle grinder seeming the rails are a good 25mm below this.
Next on the list is a stroppy A14 and a S110 diff with a LSD just to have a bit of fun.
