Afrer its clean, spray it with CRC or the like. DONT give the bores a chance to get any corrosion on them. Also before you take the pistons out, get a bit of emery cloth, and remove the carbon build up from the top of the bore. Even that little bit of carbon can harn your top ring lands.

Bart seriously, Brand new piston sets with rings are less than 80 dollars a set!

And yep, bores were oiled up very soon after. Although wouldnt a hone cure any pissweak corrosion?

I'd say they'd have to be JCC pistons at that price. Or maybe thats each?

yeah, you get what you pay for, and $80 isnt much for pistons and rings.
i recently paid nearly 100 for a set of taiwanese rings, yet they gapped up perfectly, and have been no issue so far.

^hahaha!

Im looking after these wheels, someone has for their whole life and i dont want to be the sack that ruins them.

Im dropped how much it tamed down the car, now it turns and steers and dosent roll over!

I got EXPENSIVE shocks for it too. Damn it. Screw them for not having a less mediocre option than KYB
