you've got the baby's then, need b110/b210 inserts. B310 would be way to big which hopefully explains your problem??

worth a go (If they dont fit, send 'em back). Chucking some gas inserts in is less mucking around than cutting/lathing/re-threading etc.

I had a sunny once that steering arms with the 1200/120y bolt spacings. (Still had the larger 310 ball joint tapered hole though) FWIW
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

What a lot of hassle just for a pair of shocks!
If you had a square headlight model (with the larger, stronger struts) there'd be no need for all this drama. Your new inserts would've slid straight in, and you'd be cruising in style, using your old inserts to fend off all the babes that'd be gagging for the square headlight sexyness. :poke:

If you've got 45 OD struts use EP71 KYBs, same (or near enough) length as mk1 golf inserts except you can actually get them
They are real short, you'll need to cut down the strut tube but if you want slammed you'll need to do that anyway. Other not so slammed option is n13 (i'm pretty sure its n13, might be n12) they are about 75mm shorter than stock

my 79 round headlight sunny wagon has the larger 51mm struts.
the first of the round headlight sunnys may have received the same struts as the late b210 120y's, that used the larger steering arm bolt spacing but the 45mm strut.
