z18et into a z16 coloum shift 720 ute

Someone asked me today if my z18et im selling would bolt into his 720 with a z16 im assuming it would? He wants to keep his coloum change so could he bolt up his z16 gearbox? Or even better could he put the coloum change onto my stronger z18 gear box?

column changes only work with column change gearboxs, converting a floor change gearbox to column shift would be real hassle.
could the z18et gearbox internals fit in the z16 box?

I reckon just chuck the z18et on the z16 gearbox.
