lowering my datsun

Post by fizzy1 »

hay there ive got a 1978 datsun 180b ;) and am wanting to lower it. its got coils in the front and leafs in the back i thought best would be just to reset the leafs and buy new lowering coils for the front, if theres a better way that anyone knows please help a brother out!
oh and if any one roughly knows the cost of doing this thanks :D

resetting the leaves is the best way for the rear, but blocks are cheaper. go with the reset option, as this wont twist the diff like blocks will. as for the front, the best option will be to get some coil over sleeves and springs and to modify your factory struts. if that is too hard/expensive, then some lowering springs and shortened struts will go along way to making it look and handle better.

post up some pics in a project thread so we can see what your old girl looks like
