My cousin brought the bare steel 180b coupe from trademe and is driving it from the south island to gisborne in the next 2 weeks. Has had a coat of pa10 he said.

Should look sexy travelling back up. Is it red oxide PA10?

Im still going to fish oil all the cavities once the body is finished with the final paint colour on it.

Red with black over spray so you know where to sand I hope its not primered. I assumed it was an oil coating over the steel and not primer. I trust he has spoken to owner and hes coming from oz to drive it back.

I've heard that fisholene stuff goes away after time. Cavity wax sets and gives a more permanant barrier to moisture.

It is the best feeling. On the weekend I was just standing there looking at it thinking there is not an ounce of rust or bog in it.

nice work. after seeing that i'm going to do the same. it's easy to get all rust now rather than finding some later on.
