Thanks guys. It has certainly been a long time in the process, usually due to lack of funds $$ and some times women :tits: .... :oops:

Hey all, was chatting to Shane (BRE510) the other night and he told me I needed to post an update on the build. I can't say that too much has happened over the past couple of months but here are a few pics to illustrate;

Picked up my fuel tank from the painters:

Then re-assembled it ready to go back into the car:

Also finished bending up my 3/8 fuel lines for feed and return including fuel filter. Took so many hours to make sure that I got them right! :baseballbat:
Still needing to be trimmed back.

Oh and a couple of shots of the brackets all welded on before it went to the panel beaters:

Then added the brake line down the middle of the fuel lines;

And modified my fuel rail to look a bit tidier and have screw in fittings not hose clamps;

After:

Have been waiting for stainless tube nuts for the brake lines for the last 2 months, but now that I have them we will be pushing on...........as finance allows :violin:

that is amazing. How the hell did you get your fuel line so straight. Mu fuel line (aluminium) came inin a coil and even "straightened" its pretty average. Also agree. Bending up fuel line is a whore of a job. I ran out of expletives bending mine up.
