Thought I'd better give a little update :D

Things fixed:
Headgasket - new
Timing chain - new
Window demister (driver's side) - wasn't connected, window actually demists now 8-)
Dash lights - fuse blew
Wing mirror added (driver's side) - little chrome jobbie off a datsun ute ;)

Car is running pretty good, doesn't use oil or water by the looks of things. Could do with a 5 speed though.

Thanks :D

Alessandra wasn't too sure about it being orange to begin with, but I think she has had a change of heart.
Probably around the first time she walked out of a shopping mall and could spot the car in the carpark a mile away

I bought Alessandra a present the other day:

100_4590 (Small).jpg
I'm pretty sure she is the only girl she knows to get a gearbox as a present

It's actually the 5 speed I used to have in the 610; I sold it to a friend who put it in a ute. Unfortunately, he got crashed into so it got written off. So, a bit of cash later and it was mine/Alessandra's again 8-)

Somebody broke into the wagon during the early hours of this morning and set it on fire :o

I don't have any photos of it yet, but the damage is extensive. Luckily Alessandra has insurance. We are both gutted though, it really sucks that someone would do that on purpose :(

Yeah it really sucks. It seems like such a pointless thing to do as well. It's not like they stole it to sell or anything....just ruined it so now no one can use it.
