I felt particularly exhausted all my sheet is not subjective

Re: Nick 1200 sedan
rollcage and race seats, thats about it really.
The rest is pretty much race car anyway
Might do a little bit more work on the suspension too, maybe panhard and adjustable swaybars. Will probably put back up on rotisserie and seam weld too.
Will see how I get on
Lewis's car is nearly finished so will have the whole garage to mess up soon. SOooo hopefully i'll get some progress shortly

Re: Nick 1200 sedan
Still no progress
I cut a hole and i've got a roll cage in my garage ready to start looking at.
EXPECT big things to come (i just probably won't deliver on the expectations)

Re: Nick 1200 sedan
Hey did someone edit my post and change the I probably won't deliver bit to big text. I'm pretty sure I made that tiny!!!
Anyway, I have progress pictures!!!! I know.
Sorry they are just crappy phone pictures but I decided to have a saturday night in the garage and here's the result. as you can see I redid more work because i'm a fussy bastard but I think this looks better than my first attempt by far.
Hoping to weld it up tomorrow night, also my race seat I brought should be turning up tomorrow or the next day so theres the next job
I think it looks better than the old one, pretty happy with the out come. Also fixed up some warping in the firewall while I was at it from when I did the other one too (you might be able to spot a few pie cuts)
Aim is to take it for a test drive before I dissappear off to china in 6 weeks time

Yeah great work. I like how you have gone back to improve on something you have already done, many people would just leave it since they've already "done" it.

Re: Nick 1200 sedan
Haha, I Just can't do it! Its why my project has taken so long I get an idea in my head and i'm like, ah fuck it. I'm going to have to do it. I.e Set back drop tank reverse pedal box new crossmember and gearbox crossmember.
Now revising from brake setup so I can more easily fit my 13's and will fit the wilwoods i've had lurking around the garage for a while.
Pics
Seat Mounts done.......
...... to mount these
Moddified gear lever to as it sat too far back and a little low for my liking. Also the std gear lever has a big rubber mount on it to absorb vibration. THe thing must of weighed a good 1-2 kilo's. So its now a light weight racing gear lever haha
mess
So currently i'm looking at the front brakes and getting the Pedal box finished off needs the mounts for the push rods done and return springs added and brake light sensor added and pedals welded on. I was looking at making a balance bar but don't think i'll bother for now. I'll add one later if brake bias becomes an issue. Still heaps to do, but aiming at that march track day for a shake down. Fingies crossed if I knuckle down it should be doable *I THINK*
Also need to get over and see matto and see if his 300zx throttle pedal will work. Fail that I might just use the standard 1200 one and weld on the pedal instead of having the nasty floor hinging jobbie
