Re: Johns cedric sgle
Hey John, I got a email from a dude over in oz (think I brought the tailights off him if I remember rightly), and he asked if I needed any "SGLE" badges. So I thought I'd ask you? If you do let me know, Blake.

Blake told me that he's sold you the cedric. I sold him the 260c coupe tail lights. I've had a look at your photos....absolutely fantastic. I have seen some pictures on the net of this dude in japan that has done something like you v8 etc...but you never get to see anything close up (in the works)or ever see his car 'around'.
Some parts for your car are available..badges, lights and some other stuff for the 331. Let me know if you need anything and i'll see what I can find over here in oz.
Cheers mate and well done.

awsome,thanks ozconnection
been abit slow for tha last month or so,finished the pattern for my itbs so im just waiting for them to get cast at the moment.ive been playing with the fuel tank, adding extra baffel and i put a buldge in the bottom of it so the diff doesnt go through it!its all tacked up and 2doors is gona gas weld it up for me so it doesnt leak.
got heaps done this weekend tho, took friday arvo off work and took the cedric out of the garage for the first time in 6 months.put it on the trailer and hauled it to the datsun garage.chriss and i spent most of the weekend cutting, bending and welding.we got the boxes over my link arms and got the inner gaurds tacked in ready for me to weld at home.awsome, thanks heaps chriss!!!
it would be rude not to see how low it was gonna sit so....
i still have at least 15mm all around the rear wheels at this height, stoked!
huge thanks to chriss for his hard work and wal for his workshop, awsome guys.
after ive welded and dressed the inner gaurds back its off to get the underside sand blasted, primmed and gravel coated, then ill paint and assemble the diff.

It looks even better in real life! It's like you can just step over it!
It's a shame you moved that front wheel before I took that last shot John, it looked so good!
