I do agree that keeping the roof would be way cooler.
but it might make it a bit of a parachute to tow.
We could cut it at the very top of the C pillar and cap it off so from side on it sort of looks like its got a roof. You could then make up a wee shade roof frame umbrella thingy that slots into the top of the c pillars
Does any of that even make sense.
Really I'd be happy either way.

That statement is aligned with my thinking.
There's no point in trying to get too clever. There are unfinished cars in sheds all over town that are going to be really clever. Lets not make the trailer one of them. I'm gagging to get my V8 into the garage asap, so I'd like to get the old girl rolling and back outside soon.

Got some more parts today. Dan and I went out to dans mate Jeff's house in rangiora after work. We picked up a pair of fisted old shocks to keep the coils captive. we also got the washers which hold the rear subframe in, and a rear seat which is blown across the top of the back squab. It will be really easy for my father in law to fix. I'm thinking that we'll use some old 1200 front coils, they will be nice and soft. It's not going to need heavy springs.
