I really like it when they do a 12 hour endurance race at Bathurst like the week after the main race and they have all the GT , sports and Touring classes.

So there is anything and everything racing wheel to wheel on the track all at the same time

Last year a tree fell over the track at the top of the of mountain just before Conrod, so the drivers got out and went for a walk and had a chit chat while the dudes with chainsaws did their thing :lol:

Group B is way better, RS200's space frame turbo'd killer bee's.

You have a valid point there.

During 1986 Henri Toivonen in the Lancia Delta S4 did a hot lap at one of the F1 tracks and posted a time that would have put him on the second row of the grid for the Formula one Race.

They were putting F1 to shame - especially when the were doing 0-100 in around 2 seconds ON GRAVEL.

Another vote for group B Rally.

I'm heading down there on saturday for the race, I'll try and grab some snaps. I've got some for last year (mainly promo girls tits and asses though :oops: :tits:

...and another! a while back I was at a big car yard in Penrose and inside the warehouse was a Renault R5 turbo widebody the proper Group B homologation special

Almost autographed my gusset on the spot..

Should make note that the car was one of the owner's private collection. not for sale :'( not that I could afford a wheel nut off the fuckin thing!
