I got on to a place in Auckland, a no name Chineese Alarm, with 4 door actuators for less than a hundy, actually 2 alarms for $110. I haven't ordered yet, you want me to add one on for you? Full remote etc.

I fitted alrms for many years and still do on the side now. I was always against the cheap units but have fitted a few of the trademe ones and they seem to be ok. I have always added a few extra grounds on the older cars as most only have one from batt - chas - engine.

hmmm, cheers man.
but think I'll pass on those ones.
The alarm Im after is for a mate....I also have fitted a bunch of alarms before.

I'd prefer to find one that will be one that an insurance company recognises, and has dual imobiliser and all black wiring....false wires the lot lol.

I have always had a good run with the AVS series, Really tidy install and standard trip immobs, self adjust shock, data siren etc etc. Nice long looms so you can pretty much put it any where. I also run my looms through dish washer drain hose. Sounds funny but you shopuld try get into that shit when its fitted so long as the brain is some where good.
