i only posted here for the interest of the others that couldnt be there, as it wasn't a meet attended by either club as such.

have to say though, i was dissappointed at the fairly low turn out of 80's cars, heaps of 70's stuff, and 90+

Yeah would have love to have seen more 80s skylines, bluebirds, pulsars etc there were a couple of exa's there mind you haha

Perhaps I was a bit preoccupied with getting the car on the track and being lucky enough to fang round in Allan Lewis' blown v8 240z but I thought they needed to announce more of what was going on over the loudspeakers - missed the figure 8 comp (did it happen?) and nearly the exhibition lap.. saying that was a cool turnout and definitely testament to why I'm a Nissan / Datsun man like you guys!

By the way - first time driving at hampton downs - what an awesome, challenging track! plenty of off camber bits and wide exits make for easy power oversteer!

Love the pic of the 510 with the GTR R35s. Looks like a school boy cramming into the shot behind his hero. Awesome.
Looks like something we missed, hope it continues, and grows. Shame about the '80s cars, may be a thing for the future?
