CA18DET Igniter

Post by Datto_610 »

Can anyone help?? Cant find them anywhere. I have an RB20 one but was told it is an older style rb igniter which may make it harder to find plugs for, any help much appreciated!

The price is a wee bit steep though.

On completely unrelated note.
Come pick up your rotor and caliper. Also I have a factory turbo exhaust manifold here for you as I seemed to remember you needing one a while ago?

does it need to be a ca ignitor? Wouldn't any an ignitor from a 4 cyl with coil on plug work with a little rewire?

yep it would nick....thats why he had already acquired a RB ignitor, but cant find plugs for it.
you could use any ignitor that has provision for at least 4 separate inputs/outputs......so the one he posted last wont work as it is for a single coil setup
