wanted a series motor and gearbox

i have a 76 120y currently with a a15 and 5speed, but last week i managed to lose compression in one cylinder. and to top it off the gearbox syncro is pretty shot. if there is an a12 and 4speed around in chch for sale that would be awesome

I've been on the look out for a cheapy, but all of a sudden everyone wants top dollar for thei motors. The best deal I could find was on a front dizzy A12. (Which I might still buy yet)

I will have a working A12 and 4 speed manual gearbox available once I can track down and put in a working A15 and 5 speed box.

while walking oneday i saw a 1200 ute sitting in a paddock rusting, went and asked about it today has an a12 and 4speed which is tempting but the body is rusted out... (rego on hold apparently) made me cry a little inside. even wal probly wouldnt want to touch the rust in this thing. he said he was open to offers so i may go back with $100 and see if hes keen. (ill get it in $5 notes so it looks like alot)

i do have an a14 and 5speed that i been holding to but really dont need, the a14 has no carb or points but everything else there, i could be persueded to sell tho if your in need

I'd been keen on the diff head if its a 4.11

I would love a 5 speed box if some one wants to part trade on a 4 speed
