How do I tell what these struts are originally out of?
Came in the parts 1600 I purchased back in August.

If there is no stamped part number you could try looking at a few specific things
Brake Caliper bolt spacing may narrow you down to a few certain models
Pull the shock insert out and look at its part number
(this may narrow you down to which model of car it came from)
Spring , it looks fairly clean that may have a part number near the lower perch or the spring hat
alternatively the Diameter and spring Length may only match a specific model. You could possibly tell those measurements to somebody like George Stocks and they could look up any springs with those measurements and match them to a car.
The strut body itself, if you measure the length and possibly get a few forum member to measure a known 1600 strut then you could match it up that way.
Otherwise i don't have a clue, it looks very Datsun Generic

Yeah I started to measure the strut length etc but realised I lent out my spring compressors to Dyl Phil.85_Z31 wrote:If there is no stamped part number you could try looking at a few specific things

Re: How do I tell what these struts are originally out of?
top hats look to be 240k gt.
they could be 240k struts if shorter in strut tube length than stock 1600 struts.
discs look to be solid not vented, may be bigger in diameter to 1600/180b?

dont think it will be 910, as im pretty sure they only came with vented rotors
Re: How do I tell what these struts are originally out of?
can confirm 910 had vented rotors

I was actually assuming they were 240k because the whole rear is out of one.
But measurements should confirm

Did not all the suspention etc out of that car come all painted up, and adorned with "nismo" stickers and the like?
If so that suspention came out of the 510 that Adam bought of maldat.
