i will be selling the rims off my 1200 coupe sometime, you can have them pretty cheap if you want them, i'm the one that had bided on those 15x8 banzai's haha! but i have flares to cover them up a bit! i was keen on the longchamps on trademe but the banzais are CHEAP!

Cheers timas. Yeah, hoping to keep it pretty standard and move to some same period 14"or 15" style wheels. With the engine rebuild/repower underway, can't wait to really get stuck into her!timas datsun wrote:mate ur 1200 looks realy tydy ah !! i wouldnt paint it at all !! unless it needs it !! um i dont think its a delux ur missing badges ect .. ?? iv got a 1200 with the wee 12 inch sss style wheels as well i think if u go a15 ull need biger 13s maybe 14s !! your cars worth more standard and mint than choped up in boy racer style ... if you need any parts ect im sure us datsun boys could sort u out .. just ask ah !!crustywhip wrote:Welcome Nick

Re: Braasy's Datsun 1200 (B110) 4 Door Sedan
Just a quick update guys. Have recently purchased a secondhand A15 engine for the re-power which is currently in the shop being worked and rebuilt. Once complete, will drop it in and mount the twin side drafts I purchased a while back. Have also settled on a 60a 5 speed gearbox and some Enkei wheels (cheers Kitch) so will hope to have it looking a little worked and a lot grunty come the Akaroa cruise!
No real pictures to post, but did get a couple of candid snaps...
More updates to come... Further suggestions and/or criticisms welcome Full update of exactly what has been done will be listed for those that care plus pics!
