Well the engineer said that manifold pictured above has got too hot and he don't want to weld to it, so i have had to supply my spare manifold and he is welding up that one ( has a crack too )
So now i have to re port that manifold which is a royal pain in the ass.
The good news is I have purchased another set of wheel spacers to complete a full set, and the front brakes are at the engineer getting shims made & pressed so that they locate the rotors and spacers nice andsnug as per LVVTA cert requirements

Sweet New Boost Gauge
Just bought this > this is how it looks installed in a LHD car - hopefully the dude can send it(ex USA) out ready for the car's next run to Rakaia Gorge.
Welded Manifold is expected to be back on Friday / Saturday

I hope that you can mount your gauges more level than they did. Not to be a nit picker, but they look like they were installed by a team of school boys.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Re: James 85 Z31 300zx - Cracked Manifolds kicking me up the
Lack of repaired manifolds to bolt back on the motor led me to absolute boredem
From here there is 2 options
1) drink and get wasted
2) make something useful ( cos my fat ass needs to lose a few keggers )
So i made this
I was in Japrace yesterday getting some T bolt clamps and I saw them there for like $89 or $99 and through fark that i could make one for free

Those ones in jap race are made at a local sheetmetal place. Cant remember the name..
Well at least they used to be.

I would have gone with option a "A" myself.
I do enjoy your updates James. I hope you'll have things sorted in time for the Rakaia cruise.
