ive got some strutts and springs, but i think they may be from my laurel. they are spare, but i think they are a larger diameter. should still work, but you will have to use your 910 top hat on the laurel strutt for it to work

Well as you guys are aware I made it to Rakaia and back! :D
Thanks to Vaughan for helping me diagnose the problem with the old girl!
Losing auto / drive coming to Ashburton - he put 2 and 2 together, and worked out the vacuum line from the auto, must have a fractured diaphragm, and was sucking back trans fluid into the carby!

So by disconnecting this line, and topping up fluid a) got the auto going again, and b) the huge smoke clouds are a thing of the past!

Nice! How come in a couple of your pics I see of this there is an orange 1200 sedan is in the background? Is it your one? thought you had sold this to a famous person?

Tony.
The photo at my house, shows Simons deluxe in the background (Timas datsun)
The most recent photo taken in Ashburton shows Vaughans sedan in the background (Classic Dat)
I assure you the 1200 sedan is gone (and sorely missed....)

Not likely. It's far too comfortable for a trip that far.
