Post by brocky41 »

Lisa inherited this 720 a few weeks back (unexpectedly but hey something to remember her grandfather by - ive got a mk1 cortina from mine, mean) just need to do a couple of Rust repairs on the roof and will be away wof'd and reg'd. Will be an epic journey down south with this one.

Currently getting the rust out by means of liquid metal (pink stuff) and getting a warrant.
I've got some 2'' blocks at work and can wind the torsions down a bit (dont tell lisa)

Hey guys, this is now for sale in Hawkes Bay - has a good running L18 engine and 4 speed - i think these are either H165 or H190.

Its rego is on hold but the rust bug has got to it - cab is rusty and bould need two patches welded on 2 chassis rails next to tank and cab mount

$500 ono

will put up pics of rust soon

Body mounts a bit gone. Have a shot of the fuel tank rust problem?
