dizzy vaccum advance!

hi i am putting my carby together and i just saw a pic on the net and was wandering were the distributor vacumm addvance goes wen i got the car it was plugged uin the cirlce diaprham kind of thing circled in black but the pic says it goes in the carby vaccum circled in yellow so were should i attache the hose also its a manual choke! nor maly this is were the altitude compensator was plugged!

also the accel pump leaver rod circled in blue it connects near the throttle cable cam right but why dosnt mine line up properly with lever once placed in there??

fit the vacuum in advance as shown in the picture, plug it into the horizontal tube on side of carb circled in yellow.

a bit hard to read all in one sentence....
