For sale, A14.
Came from a 1400sgx sunny coupe. Was a mint runner. I had the head done up, (new exhaust guides, and seats recut) and .040 shaved off. Then I fitted a lumpy cam. Only problem was with the compression raised, and the valves sealing really good, the rings could no longer maintain their oil seal, and it began using oil.
So I sold the cam out of it, and used the head on another engine. (temporarily)
Bores look good, I'd say a hone and a new set of rings would be all it'll need.
When I had the rear main cap off to change the rear main seal when I changed the cam, the bearings didn't look rooted.
So it should be a pretty straight forward motor to freshen up. Will include a standard cam.
The head is also availble, although one of the valves is missing/there is a minor battle scar in one chamber from an engine failure.
Also have the A14 manifolds with it, and I think the A14 carb and air cleaner.
This was going to become a turbo motor, but my direction has changed.
taking offers, or will put on trademe.
A14 motors love to rev!

I don't want to have to freshen up a motor for that.
I might even sell the sunny as is.
