Re: my utes
Yup, Grant gonna take real good care of her. She has gone to a good home.
This has been in the pipe line for a long time coming.

Re: my utes
went to look at at the end of november i think and picked it up 2 weeks ago?? so was a long time coming (mostly spent asking myself do i really need another datsun....answer is of course i do apparently).
main things to do are
1. replace a few rubbers (for some reason the new screen seal has cracks in all the corners??)
2. find some money down the back of the couch and buy some gx fender mirrors if i can find some for sale
3. repaint the underneath (as part of cert/re-vin process surface rust underneath had to be wire wheeled off, but was painted with galv spraypaint from a can)
the wheels that were on it also need to be changed as the 13's were to close to the calipers and the speedo read to slow, so 14's it is. Might look into a gx steering wheel and stripes if the money tree grows again (probably not!!)
oh and did i mention its fun as all hell to drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (if not a bit bumpy from the lowness but i can live with that)

Re: my utes
You MUST bring this car down for the Akaroa cruise!!!!!!!! (It's not negotiable!) So get the time off work now, and start putting a few bucks aside each week!

Re: my utes
Nice car Grant, I seen Tony drive it into my old lock up and then helped him push it countless times till he sold it. I love the dash and the bonnet and glad to see it on this forum. If you want to sell the wheels
