Busy weekend, engine and gearbox now mounted. Although the gear box is in there with some custom "Nick plywood mounts"
Tunnel should be all back together tomorrow and then a whole lot of small things still to be played around with.
Anyway pics..

Re: Garth's 4age B110
tunnel is half done now. Definitely be finished by tomorrow.
So that'll be 4 days from rolling body to engine in the hole, cross member made, gearbox cross member done, and new tunnel made.
ot a bad effort if I do say so myself

Re: Garth's 4age B110
thats cause it IS big, its certainly takes up a lot of room.
I haven't cut the firewall or recessed the cross member.
The nice thing about doing it that way is the sump doesn't hang below the crossmember nor does the gearbox hang below the chassis rails abd I haven't cut much more tunnel out than the average CA conversion so heaps of foot room for the clutch.

Its one of those new and improved models haha.Bartman wrote:best 4ag ever!
There is heaps of room in there! as you can see by picture 1 there is atleast 2 cm between engine and firewall
Im thinking I might start a new thread now that I can cut out about 15 pages of stuff that has nothing to do with where the car is at now
