Re: Trademe/Yahoo Japan Auctions
Its a lot of coin that's for sure but it can't be that easy getting a proper 250hp out of one of those engines.gingofthesouth wrote:11k for 250hp though? WTF?
and probably paying for the "lyn Rodgers" name associated with it

Re: Trademe/Yahoo Japan Auctions
yeah definitely paying for the name
250 hp is pretty modest depending on capacity. The japs are getting over 300hp at the wheels out of there's

250 is a very impressive number when you consider it is running twin SUs!

Oh don't get me wrong its definitely nothing to be sneezed at, but I'm pretty sure I could build a motor with 250 hp for a darn sight less than 11k!classicdat wrote:250 is a very impressive number when you consider it is running twin SUs!

Re: Trademe/Yahoo Japan Auctions
True, but maybe "Lyn Rodgers" thinks his time is a whole lot more valuable than yours.
Would be nice for a powerfull original "Looking" engine, but really what would you do with an 11K SU L28 engine?
I'd think 250 would be pretty cheap with 45s
